As a result the Sigma 50mm F1.2 DG DN Art is the lightest lens in its class weighing only 745g and being 30% lighter than the Sigma 35mm F1.2 DG DN Art which shares the same bright aperture.

Intuitive functionality

The Sigma 50mm lens for mirrorless cameras offers a variety of shooting assist functions including a customisable AFL button. A built-in aperture control ring allows for control over depth-of-field while an aperture ring lock switch prevents accidental knocks when in use.

An aperture click switch can be toggled to switch aperture ring clicks on or off which is ideal for video and quiet shooting situations.

Additionally the lens features a dust and splash-resistant structure and the front element is coated with a water and oil repellent coating allowing photographers to shoot confidently in harsh outdoor environments.
